Somewhere between Saturday's errands and Monday's inbox, there's an hour that belongs to just the two of you. Most weeks, it quietly disappears. The Sunday Ritual is for keeping it.
Make a pot of coffee or tea, or whatever warm thing is yours. Pour for each other into two cups thrown on the wheel in Italy, espresso size or mug size, each one finished by hand with small four-petal flowers. The phones go in the other room.
Then the card: a short list of prompts, the same every Sunday, some big and some little. Pick the one that fits the week. Some Sundays it's What's one moment from this week worth keeping? and some Sundays it's The song we're dancing to tonight. A few weeks in, you'll know them by heart. Then, on some ordinary Wednesday, something will happen and one of you will say, “Save that for Sunday.”
The answers go in the journal. Its cover is hand block printed by artisans, from blocks carved by hand, and its 160 pages are soft recycled cotton rag paper that opens flat on the table. One line a week is plenty. By this time next year, it holds fifty-two Sundays.

- The journal — a hand block printed cover, 160 ruled pages of 100% recycled cotton rag paper, a lay-flat binding and a cotton tassel ribbon marker.
- The Sunday card — big prompts and little ones, the same every week. Pick one each Sunday. It's sized for the pocket in the lid.
- Two Viarco pencils — one for each of you.

Cup care: they're handmade, so hand wash them to keep the little flowers safe.
