The Dress, Twice pairs our two commissions from the same cutting: The Mother's-Dress Pochette, softly structured with hand-sewn handles, and The Patchwork Bridal Sash, her fabric joined with new silk and lace. One memory kit, one 25" × 25" piece, one insured round trip — and the dress that waited in a closet becomes something carried on the morning of and worn down the aisle.
How it works: when you order, we mail you our memory kit — a rigid keepsake mailer, simple instructions, and a prepaid, insured return label. You (or your seamstress) cut a single 25" × 25" piece and send it to us. We never cut the dress itself. Your fabric is photographed the moment it arrives, stabilized by hand, and sewn into both pieces in our Louisiana studio. Each carries one of our antiqued brass tags, hand-stamped with her wedding date.
Every commission includes before-and-after photographs. Satin, lace, chiffon, and blends all welcome; if a fabric needs a conversation, we'll have it before anything is cut.
