The Peacock Hand Painted Silk Robe
The Lotus Silk Robe is a rare piece of wearable art.
Hand-painted on 100% silk using a time-honored technique now nearing retirement, each robe is crafted over seven days by artisans whose skills have been passed down through generations. The lotus motif — long associated with love that endures, even through challenge — reflects strength, devotion, and the quiet beauty of becoming.
Every robe is first hand-sketched, then individually painted front and back, resulting in subtle variations that make each piece truly one of a kind.
Designed to be worn during your most meaningful moments — and kept long after — this is not a seasonal garment. It’s an heirloom, made slowly, with intention.
Each robe arrives hand-wrapped in traditional furoshiki cloth and placed in a branded drawstring bag.

If you're sending this as a gift, we make it easy:
Add a gift message at checkout. Write whatever you want her to read first — a few words, a long letter, an inside joke only the two of you know.
Free gift wrapping included. When a gift message is added at checkout, we automatically wrap your order in a beautiful For Keeps gift box, finished with our signature ribbon and a handwritten card carrying your message. Nothing extra to add. No upcharge. No checkbox to find.
Plus a 15% gift from us to her. Every gift order includes a 15% off card she can use on her own next For Keeps purchase — for the day she wants to come back and choose something for herself.
Ship it directly to her, or have it sent to you to give in person. Both work beautifully.
